Northern Nevada students pursuing degrees, trade certifications and career training encouraged to apply
RENO, Nev. — The Reno Rodeo Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications from Northern Nevada students pursuing college degrees, trade certifications and career training programs. Applications must be submitted online by February 28, 2027.
The scholarship program helps students pursue a range of educational and career goals, recognizing that a four-year degree is one of many paths to a successful future. Funding supports students working toward the education and skills needed to build careers and greater financial independence.
In 2026, the Foundation awarded $113,500 through 29 scholarships. Since 2016, it has awarded more than $1.2 million in scholarship funding.
Students can apply through AwardSpring, the Foundation’s online scholarship platform, where they can complete an application, submit required materials and track their application status. To access the application and learn more, visit RenoRodeoFoundation.org/programs/scholarships.
The program is supported by community contributions, donor-funded scholarships and proceeds from Nevada’s Rodeo State charitable license plate. Individuals and organizations interested in establishing a scholarship can contact the Foundation to learn more.
