Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo is scheduled to make an urgent request Thursday on behalf of Miguel Parra-Hernandez’s family, according to a media advisory from the county.
Parra-Hernandez was struck by an ICE agent driving a vehicle earlier this month.
Hidalgo is expected to deliver remarks around 10:30 a.m. at the Harris County Administration Building.
Attorney Kim Bruno, a representative from FIEL and Ronnie Salgado Araujo, the son of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, are also expected to attend.
