Karnataka bus fare hike ahead of Diwali: BMTC, KSRTC ticket prices increased; check new rates

The minimum BMTC fare has increased from Rs 6 to Rs 10. Ashoka alleged that the hike would burden commuters, students and daily-wage workers. The Shakti scheme offering free bus travel to eligible women remains unaffected.
